A look back at Leith’s How to ‘Budding Masterchef Class’

Love was most definitely in the air at the last Leith’s ‘Budding Masterchef’ Masterclass held earlier this month. Our clients simply loved the Valentine’s theme, focused on amazing seafood and delicious chocolate goodies. Debbie Lynch, deputy general manager of Leith’s explains how they learnt how to make a ‘loved up’ meal:

After joining us for afternoon tea, our guests got hands on in the kitchens and learnt how best to ‘shuck’ and serve Oysters- including how to know when they are good, or not so good! They also learnt how to create a wonderful scallop dish, and also some mouth-watering whisky chocolate truffles – these proved to be extremely popular with our guests – and were devoured by all!

The event was hosted by Danny Potter our head chef, and Sweetpea our Chef de Partie who managed to make everything look really effortless!

Everyone then enjoyed a fabulous Valentine’s cocktail and some delicious Leith’s food, before going home with their own chef’s apron and recipe cards for all the dishes they had made.

We hope that they will ‘share the love’ and recreate everything they learnt at home for their loved ones on Valentine’s Day.
