Fiat, Armani, Kinder and Banca Intesa among official sponsors of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) for “Casa Italia” at The QEIICC
Fiat Group Automobiles, Italian luxury brand EA7 Emporio Armani, Kinder and Banca Intesa will be official sponsors of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and their “Casa Italia” headquarters located at The Queen Elizabeth II Centre (QEIICC) for the duration of the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.
The QEIICC will be transformed into “Casa Italia” in order to host the Italian delegation for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Intesa San Paolo will be the main sponsor of the Italian team for the London 2012 Olympics, and perhaps more importantly for a three year period (2012-2014), which will include some important dates in the Olympic calendar leading on from London 2012. The CONI president Gianni Petrucci commented that this sponsorship was due to the quality of the Italian team.
The Fiat vehicles, which will have a distinctive livery associated with CONI and the Games, will be kept available in front of the Centre to provide transport for the Italian athletes 24-hours a day. Fiat will also take an active part in various initiatives organised at Casa Italia throughout the Olympic period.
EA7 Emporio Armani is the sponsor and official outfitter of the Italian Olympic and Paralympic team. EA7 will have an onsite merchandise store as well as a hosting presence for all invited guests to the Centre.This project is the result of a collaborative agreement between the Armani Group and CONI and further validates Giorgio Armani’s close connection with the world of sport.
Kinder + Sport is the official sponsor of CONI and the Italian Olympic team. The Kinder + Sport project was developed by Ferrero to disseminate and promote sport as a healthy daily habit, especially among the youth.
