QEII was chosen as the winner of the competitive category for its dedication to delivering exceptional customer service at every event it hosts.
The venue, which has capacity for up to 2,500 delegates, was also recognised for its customer service excellence earlier this year at the London Venue Awards, where QEII won the Best Venue Customer Service award for over 500 attendees.The Drum UK Event Awards recognise and reward the people behind the scenes within the event industry, with a particular focus on the experiential element of the marketing world.

The QEII Centre has enjoyed success at several awards ceremonies in 2017. In addition to the UK Event Awards and London Venue Award wins, the Centre was named Best Conference Venue (over 750 theatre-style) at the 2017 Conference Awards, was awarded Silver for Best UK Conference Centre at the 2017 M&IT Awards, won a Silver and a Bronze at the EVCOM Awards for Best UK Venue and Best Event respectively, and won the Silver Award for Best Website at the 2017 Meetings Industry Marketing Awards (MIMAs).
