Tesco choose The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre for Wine Fair

Tesco Wine Fairs 2012 has chosen The Queen Elizabeth II Centre (QEIICC) as the venue for the London leg of its UK tour.

The Tesco Wine Fair will be held at The QEIICC on the 27th & 28th October 2012, and is a public event for wine lovers to learn about, taste and buy wine.

The Fair is being held on the third floor at The Centre, in the Fleming, Whittle and Benjamin Britten rooms and will have over 250 wines from over 14 countries. The Fair is hoping to attract over 3,000 visitors.

The two day event will show a wide variety of wines from over 14 countries – ranging from full-bodied and intense to easy-drinking and refreshing. It will also include Fairtrade, organic, boutique, limited edition and big brands.

Tesco Wine Fairs 2012 are being organised by Cube Communications.

Sarah Florence at Cube Communications said: “The QEIICC is an iconic events space and we are delighted to be holding the London Tesco Wine Fair 2012 there. We are looking forward to bringing hundreds of wonderful wines and thousands of wine fans together once again.”

Sue Etherington, Commercial Director, The QEIICC said: “The Centre does not host many purely consumer focused events. The Tesco Wine Fair is the perfect event to showcase both the flexibility of the venue and the ease of use that our Central London location brings to consumer events. This is a fabulous event for the Centre to be involved with following our Olympic “Casa Italia” occupation in the Summer which also attracted a huge public interest?”

Tickets range from £7 to £12. For further information and to book tickets please visit www.tescowinefair.com or call 0845 330 5072.

The Tesco Wine Fair runs through September and October 2012 and will also be held in Manchester, Bristol, Brighton and Edinburgh.
