Hugh Spicer TD FCA has been appointed as an independent non executive director of The Queen Elizabeth II Centre.
Hugh has a wealth of business management experience at both a strategic and operational level. His executive career has spanned a wide range of industries including major Plcs. such as Blue Circle Industries, Dairy Crest and Seeboard.
Hugh has experience of the small and medium size enterprises from his time with Price Waterhouse in London and more recently he has worked in a consultancy and interim finance director capacity across a diverse range of service related businesses. He has also held a number of non-executive appointments.
Hugh’s financial and business experience will greatly benefit The Queen Elizabeth II Centre as it moves forward into a new period of growth and opportunity. Hugh will replace Kenneth Ludlam as chairman of the Centre’s audit committee when Kenneth steps down in 2012 after a long period of exemplary service.
