Natasha Zinko brings high fashion workwear to QEII

Leading fashion designer Natasha Zinko has used London’s QEII Centre as the stage to reveal her A/W18 collection of power dressing workwear at London Fashion Week.

The London-based Ukrainian designer’s latest collection is a nod to her corporate past as a lawyer, which represents multi-faceted powerful women with contrasting elements of masculine and feminine, polished and playful, refined and rebellious and serious and sexy.

Models took to the catwalk on Tuesday 20 February in matching grey wool gabardine blazers, before the lights went out, and came back on to reveal the true character of the eye-catching looks beneath after the jackets had been shed.

The theming of the show shares synergies with the QEII Centre as a venue, which in recent years has shed its image as a corporate conference centre to host numerous creative events including fashion shows and luxury brand product launches.

Natasha Zinko said: “The QEII Centre was the perfect venue for our corporate-themed show at London Fashion Week. We only wanted to enhance the existing space and make use of the centre’s expert in-house AV to create a dramatic reveal for the collection, which is a dedication to all working women. The location and accessibility for our guests was great, and the team at QEII were incredibly helpful and supportive in the lead-up to the event.”
