#SPARKSESH Stories that move people to Action workshop

Tuesday 28th June 6-8pm

Stories that move people to Action workshop

Are you trying to get people to listen to you?

Do you want to put your ideas across more powerfully?

When it is vital to influence someone or a group of people to your way of thinking, remember this: Facts can only take you so far. People are not entirely rational. You need to engage them emotionally for them to feel the motivation to act. The most effective way to get people to really sit up and listen is to tell them a story.

In this 90 minute incubator session you’ll receive a simple formula to tell great stories, discover why stories are so addictive, learn how stories relate to the workplace, and better understand how powerful people use stories to get people thinking, feeling and acting differently. The workshop is fun and interactive throughout, with plenty of exercises around change and challenge.  We’ll demonstrate our method and approach to storytelling using film clips and other popular media, to take your understanding of storytelling to a new level. Refreshments will be served during the evening to help keep the creative juices flowing.

Delegates will leave this session not only with a goody bag but inspired with a clearer idea about their own journey, as well as the magic ingredients of stories that connect us with each other and move us to action.
