QEII Quality: Delivering a high-quality event experience at the QEII

At the QEII Centre, the quality of the experience and service we provide our clients and delegates is central to everything we do. From the warm welcome provided by Donovan and Roberto at the front entrance to the delicious and sustainable catering, we work in partnership with our clients to deliver events that will impress your delegates.

As the events industry recovery continues to gather pace post-pandemic, we are committed to maintaining these high standards and helping you to restore your delegates confidence. Over the last twelve months we have continued to invest in our in-house equipment and staff training and our teams and have seamlessly transitioned back into running face to face events.  Find out more below about what makes the QEII event experience so special and how you benefit by holding an event here:

Spaces: With 32 rooms across seven floors, the QEII Centre is a versatile venue than can accommodate all sizes of event from small meeting to full Centre bookings. Whatever your event, whether it is a conference or exhibition, award ceremony or dinner to product launches and fashion shows we have the perfect blank-canvass venue for you.  Whilst our spaces have exceptional natural light and stunning views of some of London’s most famous landmarks, including Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, The London Eye and the Shard that will complete the delegate experience.

Staff: Our dedicated and experienced staff have considerable experience of both the events industry and more specifically the QEII Centre with 11 staff having worked here for over 20 years and an average length of service of 12 years. This has enabled our staff to build excellent and long-standing relationships with our clients, understanding their requirements and finding ways to help them continually deliver high-quality events. Throughout the last eighteen months, out teams have continued to be flexible and adaptable to changes, helping support clients through a challenging period for the industry.

Latest Technology:  We continually invest in technology, so that our in-house AV team, QEII Live can support you with your event requirements. Over the last twelve months we have enhanced our hybrid and studio offerings to allow you to connect with those delegates that can’t make it to in person. We also offer digital content creation, video editing and 3D room visuals and can assist you with all your AV requirements. Whilst our 2GB building wide internet supply will enable you and your delegates can stay connected throughout the event.

Catering:  QEII Taste, our in-house, caterers are renowned for delivering an exceptional guest dining experience and have a range of menus and options to meet your event requirements. Using fresh, sustainable and locally sourced ingredients, they produce great tasting meals that are created on the day.  We have created more sustainable and healthy menus, increasing the number of vegetarian and vegan meals as well as reducing the amount of sugar to help support your delegates dietary needs.

Sustainability: The QEII Centre currently holds the Green Tourism and Greengage ECO Smart silver awards and we are consistently looking at ways in which it can enhance our green credentials. Some of the key steps we have undertaken include, eliminating single use plastics including straws, cups and bottles, sourcing seasonal produce and using energy efficient equipment, fittings and furnishings where possible. We have recently changed waste supplier to Bywaters, with the aim of achieving zero waste to landfill.

From the quotation and initial site visit through to the event day, we understand that a venue contributes so much to the experience. At the QEII Centre we pride ourselves on the quality and consistency of our service, so to find out more about how we can help you deliver an excellent event that exceeds your delegates expectations, please contact our Account Management team on info@qeiicentre.london or +44 20 7798 4000.
