About the Event Space

The third floor is a versatile and self contained group of spaces comprising the Britten, Whittle and Fleming.

These can be used individually or combined to present a range of different layouts. In combination, the Fleming and Whittle provide our largest event space hosting 1,300 delegates theatre style as well as dinners for 930 and receptions for 1,200.

The Third Floor is an impressive and adaptable large event space has stunning views of the Westminster area from the double height windows in the Britten. Delegates and guests can look onto the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey from this unique event space. The abundance of natural light enhances the exhibition, networking and catering that takes place in the Britten.

The Third Floor is suited to large conventions, large conferences, shell scheme exhibitions, dinners and receptions, awards ceremonies, product launches and presentations. It has also hosted large-scale themed events such as the QEII’s summer Olympic themed showcase. With direct access to a goods lift, we are able to transport large items such as cars and theming props directly to The Third Floor.

These three rooms combined create the largest and most striking event space in the QEII Centre and are sure to impress your delegates or guests.
