The QEII Centre achieves industry recognition for safety measures ahead of reopening.

The QEII Centre is delighted to have received Covid-19 secure accreditation in recognition of our commitment to uphold legal compliance and health and hygiene protocols. These include ‘AIM Secure,’ managed by miaUK and Visit Britain’s ‘We’re Good To Go’ Covid-19 Industry Standard.

We’re Good to Go – VisitBritain

We are delighted to confirm that we have successfully applied for the ‘We’re Good To Go’ Industry Standard, demonstrating the committed to the safety and wellbeing of our clients, delegates and staff.

In partnership with the Tourist Organisations of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and supported by miaUK, the standard approves that the QEII Centre follows government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, ensuring processes are in place to maintain optimum hygiene standards and social distancing compliance.

AIM Secure – Meetings Industry Association (mia)

Managed by miaUK, the QEII Centre obtained its AIM Secure safety accreditation in July.

This accreditation measures the quality of your meeting and event facilities, commitment to delivering a healthy and hygienic environment, service, compliance with legislation as well as commitment towards diversity and inclusion.

Receiving this recognition from the sector’s leading trade association for business, meetings and events, helps assure both clients and staff that the QEII Centre is doing the utmost to deliver first class-service and it committed to upholding legal compliance and hygiene protocols.

The QEII Centre is preparing to reopen for events on 1 October, pending pilot tests from the Government, but will be hosting site visits from 17 August to show current and new clients the safety measures we have in place.
