At the QEII Centre, we look at the ways in which you can get to the venue and some top tips for planning your journey.

When a client makes an enquiry into hiring one of the QEII Centre’s 32 flexible event spaces, our team will take time to find out their requirements and suggest the one, or ones most suited to their needs.

With the roadmap out of lockdown set out and the return of large scale live events due to take place from summer, the QEII Centre looks at what makes that live event experience so special and why we can’t wait for them to return.

With 32 varying sized and styled spaces to choose from, it’s no surprise that the centre is a popular location for film crews looking for flexibility. Having featured as one of the locations for the BBC series The Capture in 2019 and more recently as a location for political thriller Roadkill starring Hugh Laurie, our team has become well versed in effectively managing all manner of filming projects.

Since the beginning of January, parents throughout the UK have again had to take on the challenge of juggling home schooling or looking after children whilst working from home. We asked several QEII staff with children for their tips and advice on how they have been able to balance keeping on top of work and their children’s education whilst sharing some of the hurdles they have had to overcome.

Before the Covid-19 pandemic began, the team at the QEII Centre were working hard to prioritise one of the biggest responsibilities in the industry – sustainability. With the QEII Centre preparing to reopen on 1 October, we are pleased to once again demonstrate our commitment to sustainability.
