Non-Executive Directors Reappointed to QEII Centre

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government has confirmed the reappointment of two non-executive directors – Lindsey Hoy and Mark Riches – to the Board of QEII.

On behalf of the Secretary of State for the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, The Baroness Taylor of Stevenage OBE (Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Housing and Local Government – Lords) has reappointed Lindsey Hoy and Mark Riches as Non-Executive Directors of The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre Trading Fund (QEII CC TF).

Both appointees will serve a term of three years, until September 2028. The QEII Centre is an Executive Agency, sponsored by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.

Biographies  

Lindsey Hoy

Lindsey (Linz) brings over 20 years of experience in finance and Financial Services. Linz led the Private Health and then General Insurance Audit Teams at AXA UK 2017 to 2023.

Linz now holds a NED portfolio which includes Deputy Chair of Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Trust, one of the largest Mental Health Trusts in the UK, and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for a Community Interest Company.

Linz said “I’m delighted to be reappointed for a second term with the QEII Centre. The great executive team, supported by brilliant colleagues across the QEII Centre, make this a highly successful Conference Centre and a pleasure to work with”.

Mark Riches

Mark Riches is an experienced business leader, developer of talent, and specialist in experiential marketing. With extensive creative, commercial and international experience working for some of the world’s top brands, he co-founded and helped grow one of the most respected privately held agencies with a global presence. Today he works as an advisor, NED and investor into boutique high-potential entrepreneurial businesses.

On his reappointment as NED to the QEII Centre, he said “for over 25-years I have been visiting the QEII Centre as a client, and I am delighted to continue visiting to support the excellent executive team and their colleagues at this award-winning conference centre.”

For reference, the term ‘QEII Centre’, used in this announcement, is shorthand for The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre Trading Fund (QEII CC TF).
